It is crazy how fast time flies by. We celebrated our first anniversary in Salt Lake City on our way back to Idaho from Colorado. We stayed in a Marriott and went swimming, went to a very delicious dinner at the Olive Garden and then the day of our anniversary we went to the Salt Lake Temple. What better way to spend our special day than in a Temple, where we were sealed for all time and eternity just a year prior. It was so busy that day around the grounds, we saw around five other couples coming out from just being married and taking their wedding pictures. It was such a beautiful day and great way to spend that special day.

Our First Year Of Marriage
Our first year of marriage was very fun and interesting! That year we had lived in Rexburg, Idaho for eight months and Colorado for four months. We enjoyed our first few months married from Jan-April in Idaho and attending school. During the summer Cody worked as a tax intern for a big bank in Colorado while I also worked for a bank but as a teller. We were so grateful to live in his parents basement and to be fed amazing meals everyday! That summer included early mornings and long days at work but we were able to enjoy quality time with both our families because they only lived 10min away from each other. We moved back to Idaho in August and that December Cody graduated from our college Brigham Young University Idaho with a major in Accounting and minor in Finance. That October Cody was offered a job as an accountant for a CPA firm here in town. We didn't know if this was the place for him to start his career and if we were meant to stay in Rexburg for a little bit longer. In the end after many prayers we came to the conclusion that here was where we are supposed to be at this time. I am so grateful I get to graduate from this amazing college July 2013 in Health Sciences. Nicole, Jena and Cira all want to attend college here and Nicole will be here Fall 2013. We are so blessed to live here and to watch and be apart of our sisters first years of college. Free babysitters is also a bonus as well! :) Here are pictures from our first year:
Winter Wonderland Wedding
I have not wrote on this blog since April 2011, and it is now March 2012! I feel bad but I honestly forgot about it till today! So, I'd like to write a little about our wedding day. Cody and I started dating Dec 2009, engaged October 2010, and married December 30, 2010. Quite fast some might say, but when you know who you are meant to be with for the rest of eternity then there is no point in waiting! I had always thought I would be married in the summer months but we ended up having a winter wonderland wedding! It had been so warm in Colorado the week before our wedding, but not until that morning had it started to blizzard! It made for beautiful pictures but by the end of them I had never been so cold in my life! From all the fun activities to the freezing weather and talking nonstop to guests, we both were a little sick on our honeymoon but we had so much fun and would never trade it for anything else! We loved our special day :)
