This has been a really great summer! Wow, Cody and myself really have a lot to be thankful for. So this summer started off really really good! Our sisters Nicole, Jena and Cira came up for a week of Adventures For Youth camp at the BYU-Idaho campus. They were able to make new friends and try new outdoor activities while learning more about the gospel and strengthening their testimonies! They had a really spiritual time and told us all the things they learned and about the spiritual experiences they were able to go through. I am so grateful we were able to have them up here and all three are excited to come up to BYUI when they graduate! Cody loved this summer because he was able to have his brother, Jake up here in Rexburg. Jake was a AFY counselor and he said it was such a spiritual experience for him that he will remember forever. We were able to hang out with him on weekends and do fun things. We also attended two baptisms this summer. One was a girl I knew in high school, who never in a million years I would of thought would join the Church. Her baptism was super spiritual. Another was one of Jake's best friends and he is also super close the the Gamboa family. They had been friends since high school and he said that he knew this is where he belonged! We had him as well as others up here last week and they loved it! I was able to secure my internship for the fall and also start working full time 7 weeks early! I am a Public Health Coordinator at the Student Health Center and I love it. It was the only internship I wanted and the first one I applied for. I am so glad Heavenly Father blessed me with this opportunity! Cody and I feel so blessed to be living the life we are. My testimony has been strengthened by the fact that if you do what is right and your heart is truly fixed towards doing good, then Heavenly Father will bless you more then you could imagine. I am so grateful for the husband I have and family that is always there for me!

Two Cutie Pie's
This weekend we went to Idaho Falls to run some errands. Best part, puppy!!! After eating at Chick-fil-a (yummy!) we stopped by to visit the puppies being sold on the side of the road. We would love to get a pet but between Cody working and me in school, it would not be fair to lock it up in the house all day. We will have to keep dreaming!

Spring Time
I just ended my winter semester last week and I am kinda sad because I really enjoyed my classes. My favorites were Women's Health taught by a local OBGYN here in town, she was the best teacher and always had so many crazy stories to tell. Cody is probably scarred from all the women's health stories I have told him ha ha. My other favorite was Anatomy and Physiology and this was so fun due to my teacher who is a fun, crazy old man and he retires next semester:( Lucky me I get to take one last class from him before he leaves. So, this week I am packing up our apartment because we are moving into something a little bit bigger, thank goodness. I am so glad I get a week to relax before my spring semester starts!

The Walking Dead
So the past few nights Cody and I have been watching The Walking Dead Season 1. I don't particularly like zombies or blood and gore but this show is so ADDICTING! Long story short, this is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series. The main character Rick Grimes wakes up after being in a coma to find the world dominated by "walkers" which are the zombies. He then sets out to find his family and other survivors. Warning: If you watch this show you will get addicted and scream every few minutes.

One Year Anniversary!
It is crazy how fast time flies by. We celebrated our first anniversary in Salt Lake City on our way back to Idaho from Colorado. We stayed in a Marriott and went swimming, went to a very delicious dinner at the Olive Garden and then the day of our anniversary we went to the Salt Lake Temple. What better way to spend our special day than in a Temple, where we were sealed for all time and eternity just a year prior. It was so busy that day around the grounds, we saw around five other couples coming out from just being married and taking their wedding pictures. It was such a beautiful day and great way to spend that special day.
Our First Year Of Marriage
Our first year of marriage was very fun and interesting! That year we had lived in Rexburg, Idaho for eight months and Colorado for four months. We enjoyed our first few months married from Jan-April in Idaho and attending school. During the summer Cody worked as a tax intern for a big bank in Colorado while I also worked for a bank but as a teller. We were so grateful to live in his parents basement and to be fed amazing meals everyday! That summer included early mornings and long days at work but we were able to enjoy quality time with both our families because they only lived 10min away from each other. We moved back to Idaho in August and that December Cody graduated from our college Brigham Young University Idaho with a major in Accounting and minor in Finance. That October Cody was offered a job as an accountant for a CPA firm here in town. We didn't know if this was the place for him to start his career and if we were meant to stay in Rexburg for a little bit longer. In the end after many prayers we came to the conclusion that here was where we are supposed to be at this time. I am so grateful I get to graduate from this amazing college July 2013 in Health Sciences. Nicole, Jena and Cira all want to attend college here and Nicole will be here Fall 2013. We are so blessed to live here and to watch and be apart of our sisters first years of college. Free babysitters is also a bonus as well! :) Here are pictures from our first year:
